How many people does the villa sleep?

Including the guest suite, it sleeps 26, ideally suited to 16 adults and 10 children, but an extra bed can be added to the dorm and/or one of the twin rooms.

Are there flexible changeover days?

Yes, outside of July and August.

What the checking-in/out times?

Arrival after 16:30, departure before 10:00am

Are there shops and supermarkets nearby?

There is a supermarket within walking distance of the villa and 4 more within a 10-minute drive.

Are there bars and restaurants close?

Most rural towns and villages have bars and restaurants and Montpon is no exception with a choice of places to eat and drink both locally and within a 15min drive. We are lucky enough to have one of the best restaurants just a short walk from the villa.

Is there a train station nearby?

There is. Montpon Menesterol is on the Bordeaux – Libourne – Perigueux line with links to Paris TGV.

Is there parking?

Yes, there is currently parking for 6/7 cars with further parking available just outside the property.

How big is the pool?

The kidney shaped pool is approximately 10m x 5m, with roman steps at one end.

Is the pool alarmed?

Yes, as in accordance with French regulations. It is also fenced for extra peace of mind.

Is the pool heated?

Pool heating is being installed for March 2019. Discover more about the villa here


Yes in the outdoor spaces.


Yes eco etiquette is important to us. In our commitment to sustainability the villa has been installed with low energy lighting and appliances and recycling practices are in place for rubbish disposal and composting. Guest are welcome to help themselves to fruit, vegetables and nuts from the organic gardens.

Is there a BBQ

There is currently a large gas BBQ. Summer 2019 will see the completion of an outdoor kitchen with fire pit and hog roast.

Is WIFI available?


Does the villa have air conditioning?

The Guest Suite is currently airconditioned and various rooms in the villa will be fitted with units for Summer 2019.

Does it have heating for the winter months?

The villa has gas central heating and a wood burning stove. The guest suite also has a wood burning stove and electric heating.

Are linens provided?

Yes, all bed linen, house and pool towels are included.

Are there housekeeping services?

Housekeeping services are available and can be tailored to your requirements.

Are there spa treatments available?

Spa treatments and massages are easily arranged with our 2 in-house therapists.

Are pets allowed?

Generally, no however exceptions can be made. Please contact us with your requirements and we will see if we can help.

Do you do host events?

Yes, we have hosted all sorts of events including weddings, business team building weekends, yoga retreats and wine tasting weekends. If you are planning a special event and would like further details, please contact us.

Can you arrange wine tours?

Being close to two of the most famous wine regions in the world, wine tours are a common request and we are only too happy to arrange them for you.

Can you arrange catering?

Yes, we can offer all types of catering, from a relaxed buffet style service to an in-house chef with waitress. Full event catering can also be arranged. Please contact us with your specific requirements.
